Seeking a Youth Residential Recovery Co-Occurring Therapist to support youth ages 13–18.5 in a residential recovery program, providing individual, group, and family therapy, case management, and safety assessments, including risk evaluation for suicidality and homicidality.
Collaborate with the team to develop treatment plans, conduct assessments, and coordinate care with internal and external providers.
Maintain a caseload of 6-7 clients, meeting twice weekly, with a flexible schedule that includes one weekend day.
Participate in evidence-based practices (DBT, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Informed Care) and interdisciplinary team meetings.
Assist with crisis intervention, de-escalation, and milieu oversight, ensuring safety and adherence to policies.
Engage families and referral sources, and serve as a liaison to community agencies.
Additional roles include supporting licensing requirements, documentation, and supervision of staff in training.
Qualifications include a master’s degree in counseling or related field, licensure (LPC, LMFT, LCSW), one year of relevant experience, and certification in addiction counseling (CAS or LAC preferred).
Salary ranges from $57,000 to $77,200, plus a sign-on bonus totaling $5,000, with flexible hours and opportunities for professional development.
