The RN Supervisor oversees the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective patient care, supporting the Director in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing services.
Responsible for supervising nursing activities within assigned areas and ensuring adherence to policies and standards. Participates in developing and executing strategic business plans to enhance operational, financial, and clinical performance. Manages daily nursing operations on a 24-hour basis, collaborating with other departments to meet quality, safety, and service excellence goals. Monitors patient outcomes, evaluates staff performance, and promotes staff development. Ensures compliance with safety and quality standards while fostering an environment of continuous improvement. Qualifications include a BSN (preferred for Magnet facilities), at least 2 years of clinical care experience, previous supervisory or management experience preferred, and current RN license and BLS certification. The role is full-time, working five 8-hour days.
