The RN Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective patient care and supporting the nursing department’s operational, financial, and clinical goals.
Assists the Director in analyzing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and communicating department processes and programs to enhance services.
Supervises nursing activities in assigned areas, ensuring compliance with policies and standards.
Participates in developing and executing strategic business plans for the service line.
Ensures safe, efficient nursing care, monitors patient outcomes, and oversees team performance and staff development.
Collaborates with other departments to meet quality, safety, and service excellence goals.
Requires a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred for Magnet facilities), with at least 2 years of clinical experience and previous supervisory or management roles preferred.
Must hold an active RN license and BLS certification.
The role involves managing daily operations on a 24-hour basis, supporting continuous improvement efforts, and fostering staff satisfaction and patient safety.
