The RN Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective patient care and supporting the nursing department’s operations.
Assists the Director in analyzing, planning, implementing, and evaluating departmental processes and programs to enhance service quality and integration.
Participates in developing and executing strategic business plans for the service line, fostering an environment of continuous improvement across operational, financial, and clinical areas.
Supervises nursing activities in assigned areas, ensuring adherence to policies, standards, and safety measures.
Manages daily department operations on a 24-hour basis, collaborating with other clinical and support departments to meet quality, safety, and service goals.
Monitors patient outcomes, assesses staff performance, and identifies training and development needs.
Ensures compliance with applicable competencies and standards, promoting safe, efficient, and effective nursing care.
Requires a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred for Magnet facilities), 2+ years of clinical experience, prior supervisory or leadership experience, BLS certification, and an active RN license.
Work schedule is five 8-hour days, full-time employment.
