We are hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive communication, swallowing, and cognition interventions for residents with neurological and medical conditions.
Develop and obtain approval for treatment plans from physicians. Treat patients according to approved plans. Supervise assistants and aides, ensuring compliance with state practice acts. Communicate progress and plans with the healthcare team. Participate in conferences, training, and discharge planning. Document evaluations, treatment notes, and progress reports per regulations. Educate families and staff for maintenance and caregiver training. Serve as a clinical preceptor for students and new professionals. Ensure adherence to licensing laws and facility policies. Build positive relationships with patients, families, and staff.
