We are seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to join a non-profit organization supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
Provide direct therapy through individual, co-treatment, and group sessions for school-aged and adult clients, utilizing communication systems including AAC. Support language development, social skills, and social-emotional awareness while collaborating with related service providers. Develop and implement IEPs, Transition Plans, and Behavior Intervention Plans based on assessments and observations. Conduct ongoing evaluations, maintain therapy caseloads, and ensure a safe, organized environment. Train and mentor interns and volunteers, modeling communication strategies and data collection techniques. Consult with multidisciplinary teams, guardians, and stakeholders to discuss progress and challenges. Manage all documentation, including progress reports, therapy notes, and compliance records, in accordance with regulations. Minimum requirements include a Master’s Degree in Speech/Language Pathology, valid Illinois license, and endorsement for Speech/Language Pathology.
