The RN – Nurse Manager, MSN/MBA oversees 24-hour operations of a designated clinical department, ensuring high-quality, patient- and family-centered care.
Responsibilities include setting and maintaining standards for safety, quality, regulatory compliance, and team performance, while fostering innovation and efficiency.
The role involves applying advanced nursing and management knowledge to improve clinical outcomes, optimize resources, and support fiscal objectives through system and process improvements.
Promoting shared leadership and team involvement, the Nurse Manager facilitates unit-based initiatives and participates in organizational committees and performance teams.
In the absence of an RN, may support direct patient care.
Qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Nursing, a Master’s in Business Administration or Nursing, RN licensure, and relevant clinical and supervisory experience. Certifications like BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP are required based on area.
The position is day-shift, with no travel or on-call requirements, located at Johnson City Medical Center.
