Position involves providing nursing care to residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and rights.
Must be a graduate of an approved RN program with an active, unencumbered RN license in North Carolina.
Preferred qualifications include training in rehabilitative/restorative nursing and experience in medical facilities.
Current CPR certification is required.
Must be able to work independently, demonstrate flexibility, integrity, and collaborate effectively with residents, staff, and support agencies.
Responsibilities include planning and implementing unit activities, ensuring policy adherence, maintaining resident confidentiality, managing supplies, and notifying physicians or guardians in emergencies.
Perform assessments, administer medications, document care, assist with resident admissions/discharges, and support unlicensed staff.
Ensure a clean, safe environment, follow infection control protocols, and participate in resident care interventions.
Must possess strong communication, decision-making, leadership skills, and basic computer proficiency.
Physical ability to perform resident care tasks, work beyond hours when needed, and respond to emergencies is essential.
