The Clinical Team Leader is responsible for providing direct patient care as the charge nurse and maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment.
Requires a BSN from an accredited nursing program, current RN license in Texas or a compact license, and completion of charge nurse training within 90 days if hired externally.
Must hold clinical certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and obtain advanced specialty certifications (e.g., CCRN, CEN, RNC) within two years.
Key responsibilities include leading and decision-making for staff, developing staffing plans based on patient acuity, and overseeing daily operations.
Ensures efficient patient flow, supports organizational goals related to patient experience, length of stay, and quality metrics.
Participates in process improvements, peer interviews, employee evaluations, and incident investigations.
Work hours are from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, on an 8×5 day shift.
