We are seeking an experienced Registered Dental Hygienist to assist in patient care, promote oral health, and understand the oral-systemic link with periodontal disease.
Conduct initial patient screenings, periodontal maintenance, and review oral and medical histories.
Advise patients on oral/systemic health, proper hygiene, and post-operative care.
Collaborate with the dentist to diagnose, develop treatment plans, and manage periodontal stability and long-term prognosis.
Identify oral conditions such as recession, periodontitis, peri-implantitis, and oral lesions.
Assist with dental emergencies and manage instrument sterilization, digital imaging, and documentation.
Maintain supplies and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Build trust with patients through excellent communication and bedside manner.
Requirements include proven hygiene experience, relevant licenses, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and physical stamina. Training opportunities are available for candidates new to periodontal practice.
This full-time or part-time role offers $48-$50/hour, benefits including 401(k), health and dental insurance, paid time off, and professional development. Schedule is day shifts, 24-36 hours per week, across multiple locations.
