The Part-Time Nurse Practitioner in Gastroenterology provides comprehensive care under physician supervision in a clinical setting.
Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with gastrointestinal and liver conditions, including ordering and interpreting diagnostics. Develop personalized treatment plans, prescribe medications, and educate patients on disease management and lifestyle. Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care. Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to legal and ethical standards. Work two days per week, with potential for additional shifts, in an in-person, clinical environment. Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Nursing, active Texas NP license, national certification, and at least one year of experience, preferably in gastroenterology. Requires physical stamina, teamwork, and commitment to patient-centered care within a fast-paced clinic setting.
