Seeking a Part-Time Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Gastroenterology to provide comprehensive patient care under physician supervision.
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage gastrointestinal and liver conditions, including GERD, IBS, IBD, and liver disease.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests; develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
Prescribe medications and therapies; educate patients on disease management, nutrition, and lifestyle.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care; maintain accurate documentation.
Participate in staff meetings, training, and quality initiatives, adhering to legal and ethical standards.
Qualifications include a Master’s in Nursing, current Texas NP license, national certification, and at least one year of NP experience, preferably in gastroenterology. The schedule is 2 days/week, 8 hours/day, with potential for additional shifts. This in-person role requires physical stamina and adherence to safety protocols, with relocation to Farwell, TX prior to start.
