We are recruiting a board-certified/eligible psychiatrist for our inpatient psychiatric service providing intermediate care to a population of 149 patients across six units.
Psychiatrists conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnose, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, prescribe medications, educate patients, and monitor responses.
Responsibilities include documenting evaluations, progress notes, incident reports, and discharge summaries in a timely manner.
Active participation in supervisory meetings, hospital committees, and performance improvement is expected.
Provide court testimony when necessary and adhere to professional standards.
Qualifications include a NYS medical license and board certification in psychiatry, with salaries ranging from $257,578 to $279,333 annually for a 40-hour week, with opportunities for overtime.
