Seeking a Psychiatrist to lead mental health services in an institutional setting, offering $275,000-$350,000 annually.
Manage and coordinate clinical and administrative aspects of inmate/resident mental health care. Provide direct patient care, including assessments, DSM diagnoses, medication management, counseling, and therapeutic programs. Supervise and mentor mental health staff, develop treatment plans, and evaluate service efficiency. Participate in civil commitments, court proceedings, and on-call duties. Maintain confidentiality, oversee documentation, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations. Respond to emergencies, administer basic medical aid, and handle high-stress situations professionally. Qualifications include an advanced degree in psychology or related field, appropriate licensure, 5 years of clinical experience, including 2 in a similar role, and a valid driver’s license.
