Physician (MD/DO) Wound Care **$25,000 Sign On Bonus

The Wound Care Provider (MD/DO) reports to the CMO and supervises nurses and medical assistants.

  • Provides specialized wound care in home, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities, focusing on chronic, pressure, surgical, and complex skin wounds.
  • Performs assessments, develops care plans, educates patients/caregivers, and collaborates with healthcare teams to ensure optimal healing.
  • Requires a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing, current MD/DO licensure, wound care certification within 6 months, and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Position involves physical effort, field travel (up to 25%), and adherence to safety protocols, including exposure to biohazards.
  • Key responsibilities include wound assessment, treatment, supervision of staff, documentation, communication, and adherence to policies and HIPAA regulations.
  • Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills are essential, along with flexibility and professionalism in varied environments.
