Seeking a Physician to oversee clinical shifts at Alabama clinics, providing excellent urgent care in a lively, fully equipped setting.
Manage walk-in patients with minor illnesses and injuries, performing procedures like laceration repair, splinting, incision and drainage, and foreign body removal.
Order, interpret, and document lab tests, imaging, and EKGs using a streamlined EMR system; prescribe medications accordingly.
Collaborate with radiology and telehealth specialists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Evaluate and treat patients of all ages with non-life-threatening conditions, managing 3-4 patients per hour comfortably.
Enjoy a balanced schedule with rotating shifts of three and four days, and complete all charting during shifts—no after-hours work.
Qualifications include MD or DO, board certification in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine, active Alabama license, BLS/ACLS, and recent urgent care/emergency experience.
