The Physician oversees patient care for all ages, manages APPs and support staff, working independently and within a patient-centered medical home model.
80% of duties focus on managing acute and chronic conditions, developing care plans, making referrals, providing clinical consultations, and leading efficiency improvements.
10% involves documentation, follow-up, coordinating testing and referrals, patient education, and tracking outcomes.
10% includes mentoring staff, participating in meetings, quality improvement activities, and revising procedures.
Qualifications include current Colorado MD/DO license, board eligibility/certification, DEA, BLS, and proficiency with office technology.
Requires effective communication, professionalism, confidentiality, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
