Excellent opportunity for Nurse Practitioners to assist veterans through a growing team, offering flexible work hours to suit individual or practice schedules. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the job location, with exceptions possible for Montana and Oregon. Compensation ranges from $85 to $400 per exam, depending on the type. Must have own office at a commercial location (not home-based), with malpractice and commercial liability insurance, and a collaborative agreement if required by the state. Requires at least 2 years of clinical experience; prior VA or veteran-related experience is preferred. Responsibilities include conducting Compensation and Pension Examinations, reviewing digital medical records, performing physical assessments for disability claims, and submitting reports online for VA review. Exams are conducted at approved facilities with proper equipment and internet access, with a minimum schedule of 1-3 days per week, adaptable to your practice. Qualifications include board-certified Family or Adult Nurse Practitioners, with flexibility to design your own schedule, including weekends. Availability of 3-7 days per month is preferred.
