Exciting contract opportunity for Board-certified Family and Adult Nurse Practitioners to perform Compensation, Pension, and Disability Examinations for Veterans. Flexible work hours, allowing you to design your own schedule, with a minimum of 1 to 3 days per week, including weekends. Must have own office at a commercial location (not home-based), with appropriate malpractice and liability insurance, and a collaborative agreement if required. Candidates should reside within 50 miles of the job location (exceptions possible for Montana and Oregon) and have at least 2 years of clinical experience. Responsibilities include reviewing digital medical records, conducting physical assessments based on disability claims, and submitting exam data via an online portal for VA review. Preferred experience includes veteran exams, workers’ compensation, or disability assessments; prior VA experience is a plus. This role offers competitive compensation per exam, with the potential for supplemental income or practice integration. Details provided during the interview process.
