Facilitates communication and collaboration across departments to promote patient-centered care, safety, and quality outcomes. Manages staff and resource utilization to deliver safe, cost-effective, and therapeutically effective patient care. Supports professional development of nursing and support staff, fostering a positive work environment. Participates in setting and monitoring unit goals, addressing issues, and implementing corrective actions. Acts as a patient advocate, ensuring rights are respected and satisfaction is prioritized. Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies, participating in policy development and staff education.
