This full-time contractor role with ICE Health Services Corps involves serving as a licensed independent clinical social worker (LCSW) specializing in mental health and substance use disorders.
Provides expert assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for detainees with serious mental illnesses, including individual and group psychotherapy, behavioral analysis, and substance abuse education.
Conducts mental health evaluations to inform treatment plans and coordinates care with medical and support staff, including telehealth services as needed.
Serves as a mental health consultant, develops clinical education materials, and provides staff training on topics like suicide prevention, abuse, and trauma.
Manages case coordination for inpatient, outpatient, and community placements, ensuring continuity of care and compliance with standards.
Acts as a program supervisor and supports mental health initiatives, including risk management and performance improvement activities.
Requires a Master’s in Social Work, valid unrestricted license, at least one year of independent clinical experience, and BLS certification.
