*Location*: BSH South Haven
*Position*: House Manager (RN) – Part-time 12N, full benefits eligible
*Overview*: The House Manager supports hospital operations and patient care by providing leadership, making administrative and clinical decisions, and coordinating hospital-wide activities, especially in the absence of unit leaders. The role requires independent and collaborative work, with competencies specific to the patient population.
*Qualifications*: BSN required (South Haven only), licensed RN in good standing, BCLS upon hire, and advanced life support within 6 months. Additional certifications and disaster planning knowledge are preferred. Ability to communicate effectively, interpret data, and work in a demanding environment is essential.
*Core Responsibilities*: Include overseeing hospital operations, leading safety and crisis management, managing patient flow and transfers, ensuring safety and emergency response, liaising with external agencies, enforcing policies, supporting employee health, managing environmental concerns, mentoring staff, and overseeing supplies and equipment.
*Swing Bed Requirement*: Completion of annual Workday training on swing beds is necessary to understand patient documentation and care differences.
*Shift*: 12-hour night shift
*Hours*: Part-time, 24 hours/week, with full-time benefits
