We are seeking two Board Certified or Eligible Internal Medicine Physicians for a locum tenens hospitalist role at a VA Medical Center in Clarksburg, WV.
This contract offers an opportunity to provide inpatient care to Veterans. Shifts are 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM on rotating schedules, including weekends and holidays. Responsibilities include admitting and managing hospitalized patients, conducting physical exams, performing procedures (e.g., lumbar puncture, thoracentesis), running codes, collaborating with care teams, and documenting in the VA’s CPRS system. Qualifications required are Board Certification or Eligibility in Internal Medicine, a valid U.S. license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and U.S. citizenship. Prior VA experience is a plus.
