The Family Nurse Practitioner provides primary care services in clinic settings, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and patient monitoring under physician supervision.
Responsibilities include obtaining medical histories, explaining treatments, performing physical exams, ordering tests, diagnosing illnesses, and managing patient care plans. They also offer emergency care, consult with team members, maintain accurate records, and participate in quality improvement activities.
Additional duties involve adhering to safety and infection control policies, attending staff meetings, and demonstrating professionalism aligned with organizational core values such as respect, integrity, excellence, innovation, and teamwork.
