The organization is seeking an ED Nurse Manager in Hot Springs, SD to oversee the Emergency Department. This full-time role reports to the Chief Nursing Officer and involves
24-hour supervision and administrative management of the ED
Ensuring delivery of professional nursing care aligned with hospital goals and values
Leading a team of emergency staff with strong leadership and organizational skills
Performing emergency procedures such as BLS, ACLS, transfusions, and IV therapy
Assessing urgent health conditions, interpreting tests, and developing care standards
Collaborating with staff and providers to achieve patient care and departmental goals
Developing orientation and competency programs, and supporting staff growth
Participating in quality improvement, staff hiring, training, and policy updates
Ensuring compliance with organizational, federal, and state standards
The position offers a salary between $83,000 and $100,020 annually, depending on experience.
Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Nursing, current SD RN license, 2+ years of acute care experience, and management experience preferred. Certifications in CPR, ACLS/PALS (within 6 months), and TNCC/ENPC (within 6 months) are required. Knowledge of EPIC is also preferred.
