Perform patient screening procedures, including assessment of oral health, health history review, oral cancer screening, head and neck inspection, dental charting, and vital sign measurement.
Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays).
Remove calculus and plaque from all tooth surfaces.
Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluorides.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling.
Provide nutritional counseling to promote oral health.
Make impressions of teeth for study models used in treatment planning.
Handle documentation and office management tasks.
This full-time role offers a pay rate of $28.00 – $45.00 per hour with benefits including 401(k), dental, health, life, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a retirement plan.
Work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts.
Requires reliable commuting to Savannah, GA or relocation prior to starting.
Preferred certifications include Registered Dental Hygienist and Dental License.
