We are seeking a Surgical Physician Assistant, preferably with cardio experience, to serve as a First Assistant during various surgical procedures across multiple specialties such as orthopedic, general, vascular, and OB/GYN.
Assist surgeons by performing tasks like retracting, tying vessels, repairing incisions, and cauterizing tissues, following physician directives.
Document procedures accurately for billing and record-keeping.
Share on-call responsibilities and adhere to established policies and protocols.
Maintain professional growth through continuing education, certification, and training support.
Qualifications include certification/licensure as CSA, LSA, RNFA, PA-C, or NP, with prior surgical experience as a First Assistant.
Must demonstrate strong teamwork, relationship-building skills, and flexibility to work at multiple locations, including weekends and holidays, with a rapid response time for on-call duties.
