We are offering a full-time opportunity for a Comprehensive Ophthalmologist in south Georgia, serving a busy multi-location practice with 1 ophthalmologist and 5 optometrists.
The practice includes two offices and an on-site surgery center equipped with advanced ophthalmic technology, as well as a hospital credentialing option for additional surgical procedures.
The community features a population of 18,000, a state university, historic sites, and outdoor recreation, located within 3-4 hours of Atlanta and coastal beaches.
The ophthalmologist will manage a high patient volume (30-40/day), focusing on conditions like diabetes and glaucoma, with approximately 800 cataract surgeries annually in both surgical venues.
Procedures include premium lens implantation, MIGS, glaucoma and strabismus surgeries, with opportunities for cosmetic procedures and referrals from an established patient base.
Candidate requirements include Board certification or eligibility, with a competitive salary ($325K+) plus productivity bonuses, benefits (CME, relocation, insurance, 401K, PTO), and partnership potential after 2 years.
