We are seeking a Behavioral Health Counselor/Therapist to provide psychosocial assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients from children upward.
Responsibilities include conducting crisis, individual, marital, and family therapies; participating in team conferences; maintaining detailed case records; and educating patients and families on coping strategies related to diagnoses and treatment.
They will also collaborate with community resources, offer consultative support to healthcare teams, and ensure documentation aligns with organizational and legal standards.
Some travel may be required.
Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Behavioral Science or related field and state licensure (LMHC, tLMHC, LMSW, or LISW in Iowa).
