This position provides behavioral health clinical services across various settings, including hospitals, emergency departments, primary care, and ambulatory offices.
Minimum qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling and a provisional license as an LMSW or LMHC in New Mexico.
Must complete prevention and management of aggressive behavior course within 2 months and BLS within 6 months.
Requires strong communication, assessment, referral, crisis intervention, case management, and interdisciplinary coordination skills.
Ability to develop and lead therapeutic groups (e.g., CBT, DBT), formulate treatment plans, and assess clients in emergencies.
Previous experience in human services preferred.
Work involves exposure to infectious materials, emergency situations, and physical interventions, requiring emotional resilience, physical stamina, and good body mechanics.
On-call availability and ability to work in potentially hazardous and high-stress environments are essential.
