Seeking a 1099 Collaborating Physician (MD) for a remote/field-based role in Alabama to support post-acute care settings.
Collaborate with nurse practitioners and physician assistants to manage patient care in Skilled Nursing Facilities. Oversee wound care assessments and treatment plans, ensuring optimal healing and regulatory compliance. Review, endorse, and guide patient care plans, maintaining adherence to HIPAA and Alabama laws. Conduct telehealth consultations to provide expert advice on wound care strategies. Participate in case discussions and contribute to best practices in wound management, including advanced therapies. Maintain clear communication with the care team regarding patient progress and care adjustments. Uphold patient confidentiality and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. Qualifications include active Alabama MD licensure, experience in geriatrics or related fields preferred, and strong communication skills. Must be able to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
