We are seeking a Collaborating Physician (MD) in Alabama (Remote/Field-Based) to support post-acute care facilities.
Collaborate with nurse practitioners and physician assistants to manage patient care, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and Alabama state laws. Supervise wound care assessments and treatment plans to promote optimal healing. Review, endorse, and guide patient care plans aligned with regulatory and quality standards. Conduct telehealth consultations to provide expert advice on wound care strategies. Participate in case discussions and help develop best practices, including advanced grafting techniques. Maintain clear communication with the care team regarding patient progress and care adjustments. Uphold patient confidentiality and ensure practices comply with relevant regulations. Qualifications include active Alabama MD licensure, experience in geriatrics or related fields preferred, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
