Leads psychiatric providers, manages caseloads, oversees medication management, and develops treatment plans.
Serves as an expert witness for court-ordered treatments and maintains detailed electronic health records.
Supervises hiring, performance, and clinical supervision of mid-level providers, ensuring quality care and operational efficiency.
Partners with leadership to plan, evaluate, and improve clinical services, creating evidence-based protocols.
Supports professional development by conducting educational seminars and participating in key clinical committees.
Acts as a public representative, fostering community partnerships and promoting mental health initiatives.
Requires a medical degree, Texas medical license, board certification in psychiatry, and extensive clinical and supervisory experience, preferably with correctional or forensic populations.
Preferred skills include forensic and addiction certification, bilingual abilities, and knowledge of trauma-informed care, legal standards, and healthcare technology.

Work hours are Monday-Friday with on-call duties, located in Austin, TX.
