We are seeking a dedicated Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor to join our behavioral health team, offering an annual salary of $70k-$80k based on experience.
Provide individual and group therapy using evidence-based, trauma-informed methods tailored to client needs.
Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and their families, addressing substance use and related challenges.
Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and utilize collateral information to inform care.
Coordinate services and referrals to medical, housing, vocational, and social supports.
Monitor client progress through evaluations, screenings, and clinical tools to guide treatment.
Create discharge and aftercare plans to support long-term recovery.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with standards.
Deliver educational workshops on substance use topics to staff and community partners.
Perform other duties to support program goals and client success.
Requirements include a valid NY State CASAC credential; a bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
This full-time role involves in-person work.
