The Division Manager of Hospitalist Operations is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing hospital medicine services and driving strategic and operational excellence.
Collaborates with executive leadership to develop and implement physician strategies that enhance clinical and operational success.
Leads initiatives focused on continuous improvement, resource management, and quality assurance within the division.
Manages tracking and reporting of key performance metrics through the Hospitalist Contract Scorecard.
Coordinates projects from various hospitalist committees and manages logistics to optimize resources and ensure compliance.
Uses problem-solving skills to improve operational effectiveness and support employee relations.
Provides coaching and leadership to a multidisciplinary team committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
Fosters a culture of outstanding customer service and maintains professional relationships with stakeholders.
Requirements include a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred), active Florida RN license, and BLS certification.
At least four years of clinical experience in acute care, with two years in supervisory or management roles.
Experience in case management, managed care, discharge planning, and utilization management is desirable.
Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills are essential.
