This part-time Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) position in a VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Cookeville, TN offers a weekday schedule of 16 hours/week, with flexible hours within clinic times (Monday-Friday, 8-4:30).
Provide psychosocial assessments, support veterans and families in understanding and coping with their issues, and develop treatment plans collaboratively.
Coordinate with clinic staff and community resources, address advance directives, and educate on VA services.
Assist with grief, loss, and terminal illness support, ensuring documentation and compliance with regulatory standards.
Deliver excellent customer service, participate in outreach, and support patient enrollment and retention efforts.
Qualifications include a Master’s in Social Work, active unrestricted license, 1-3 years of experience with adult patients, VA credentialing, and BLS certification.
