The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing shift operations and ensuring nursing care quality and safety under the guidance of the Director/Manager.
They utilize sound HR and budget principles to manage daily nursing services for patients and families.
They support patient and family services through effective interdisciplinary team participation.
Supervising nursing staff and providing direct patient care when needed are key duties.
They coach, guide, and serve as a role model for clinical and service excellence.
Requirements include:
Graduate of an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred.
Current RN license in New Mexico with BLS certification; ACLS and PALS certifications or plans to obtain within 6 months.
At least 3 years of relevant experience.
Ability to provide age-appropriate care, handle emergency situations, and work irregular hours.
Must have good physical stamina, manual dexterity, and sensory acuity.
They work in an environment with exposure to infectious diseases, bloodborne pathogens, and unpredictable situations.
