The therapist provides psychosocial assessments, diagnosis, treatment, discharge planning, and consultation to support patients and families coping with hospitalization, illness, and life situations, including emotional, mental health, and substance abuse issues.
Must work in a faith-based environment and hold a license such as LCSW, ACSW, LMFT, or AMFT.
Reports to the Clinical Director.
Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing and implementing psychosocial treatment plans, providing crisis intervention, individual, family, group, and grief therapy, and diagnosing and managing mental health and substance abuse problems.
Assist with screening and managing cases of abuse, neglect, domestic violence, and provide staff training.
Educate patients and families about adaptation to health conditions and participate in multidisciplinary teams, providing leadership and liaison roles.
Contribute to academic and community outreach efforts, maintain documentation, and participate in quality improvement activities.
Requirements include a master’s degree in social work, at least three years of healthcare experience, strong communication and assessment skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively, and flexibility.
Must be willing to travel, have appropriate licensure, and be bilingual in Russian or Ukrainian.
Full-time role with benefits, based in person, with a schedule Monday through Friday.
