Seeking an experienced OR Nurse Supervisor in the Suffolk area for a full-time position with no call, nights, weekends, or holidays.
Responsible for supervising surgical team members, including staff RNs, Scrub Techs, Rad Techs, and Surgical Assistants across various specialties such as Orthopedics, OB/GYN, Podiatry, Ophthalmology, Pain Management, and ENT.
Responsibilities include staff scheduling, medication management, and clinical staff education, with collaboration in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Most procedures involve general anesthesia or conscious sedation.
Requires a minimum of 4 years of OR circulating nurse experience and 2 years of nursing supervision in OR, ICU, or ER.
Preferred candidates have 4 years as an OR nurse supervisor, experience with outpatient procedures in Orthopedics, OB-GYN, ENT, or Pain Management, and EMR proficiency.
Must hold a BSN (or equivalent with extensive experience), RN license, ACLS, PALS, and CNOR certification is a plus.
