This role involves supervising nursing services in a perinatal unit, managing daily operations to ensure high-quality, cost-effective patient care.
Provides clinical leadership by coordinating and delegating patient care, collaborating with healthcare team members to achieve optimal outcomes.
Supports staff development through training, scheduling, and performance evaluations, ensuring fair and consistent personnel management.
Maintains compliance with laws and regulations, updates policies and procedures, and assists in budget development and financial oversight.
Implements evidence-based practices, participates in quality improvement initiatives, and promotes a holistic approach considering physical, emotional, spiritual, and safety needs.
Requires a bachelor’s degree (BSN preferred), one year RN experience (specialty area preferred), current licensure, BCLS certification, and ability to pass a medium-level strength and agility test.
