The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing a clinical department’s shift operations, ensuring nursing care safety and quality.
They collaborate with the Nursing Department Director/Manager and support patient and family services through effective interdisciplinary teamwork.
Supervise nursing staff, provide patient care when needed, and coach employees to uphold clinical and service excellence.
Utilize sound human resource and budget principles in daily operations.
Requirements include a graduate of an accredited nursing school (BSN preferred), current RN license in New Mexico, and certifications such as BLS, ACLS (within 6 months), and others relevant to the area.
Preferred experience is 3 years of relevant nursing practice.
Must demonstrate knowledge appropriate to patient age, handle emergency situations, and work irregular hours.
Physical requirements include standing for extended periods, manual dexterity, good body mechanics, and normal hearing and vision.
The role involves exposure to infectious diseases, varying unpredictable situations, and adherence to safety protocols.
