We are seeking a 1099 Collaborating Physician (MD) for a remote/field-based role in Alabama to support post-acute care in skilled nursing facilities.
As a key team member, you will collaborate with nurse practitioners and physician assistants to manage patient care, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and Alabama state laws.
Responsibilities include supervising wound care assessments and treatment plans, reviewing and endorsing care strategies, and conducting telehealth consultations for wound management guidance.
You will participate in case discussions, contribute to developing best practices, and communicate effectively with the care team about patient progress.
Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure practices meet regulatory standards.
Qualifications include an active Alabama MD license, experience in geriatrics, primary care, or related fields, and a strong understanding of chronic wound care and applicable regulations.
