This full-time contractor role with ICE Health Services Corps involves serving as a licensed independent clinical social worker (LCSW) with expertise in mental health and substance use disorders.
Provides assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for detainees with serious mental health conditions, including individual and group therapy, behavioral analysis, and substance abuse education.
Develops and monitors treatment plans, offers onsite and telehealth services, and conducts specialized programming within a Modified Therapeutic Treatment Community model.
Collaborates with healthcare professionals, provides education and training on mental health topics, and serves as a mental health consultant.
Coordinates care with local health staff, manages case documentation using electronic health records, and participates in performance improvement activities.
Serves as a suicide prevention program coordinator and provides post-discharge follow-up.
Requires a Master’s in Social Work, at least one year of independent clinical social work experience, and an active unrestricted license.
Availability for day shifts, weekends, and holidays; may include telehealth services in accordance with policies.
