We are seeking two Board Certified or Eligible Internal Medicine Physicians for a locum tenens hospitalist role at a VA Medical Center in Clarksburg, WV, providing inpatient care to Veterans.
Shifts are 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, with rotating schedules covering 24/7 including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities include admitting and managing hospitalized patients, conducting physical exams, performing procedures (e.g., lumbar puncture, thoracentesis), running codes, collaborating with care teams, and documenting in VA systems.
Qualifications require Board Certification or Eligibility in Internal Medicine, a valid U.S. license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and U.S. citizenship. VA experience is a plus.
Compensation starts at $170/hour, with lodging, travel, and malpractice insurance covered. Additional benefits include relocation assistance and travel reimbursement.
