The CSAC supervises and provides individual and group therapy within a residential substance abuse treatment program, collaborating with the team to develop and monitor treatment plans.
Responsible for client assessments, documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Acts as a liaison with families and community agencies, coordinating aftercare services and evaluating client progress.
Participates in staff meetings, quality improvement activities, and training of interns or new staff.
Administers drug screenings and assesses substance dependency.
Requires a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor credential, with 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred.
Must possess knowledge of trauma, clinical documentation, case management, and effective assessment techniques.
