We are seeking a Behavioral Health Counselor/Therapist to provide services for children and adults.
Conduct psychosocial assessments to identify emotional, social, and environmental strengths and challenges. Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans using clinical social work interventions. Offer crisis intervention, short-term, and long-term individual, family, or marital therapy. Participate in staff meetings, collaborate with team members, and develop tailored therapy programs. Maintain detailed case records, document assessments, interventions, and interactions. Educate patients and families on adaptation strategies related to diagnoses and treatment. Maintain confidentiality and liaise with community resources and agencies. Provide consultative support to healthcare team members as needed. Some travel may be required. Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Behavioral Science or related field and licensure as LMHC, tLMHC, LMSW, or LISW in Iowa.
