Seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for full-time or part-time in a skilled nursing facility, offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus paid over a year.
Position Overview: Provide patient-centered treatment to improve speech, language, cognition, and swallowing, ensuring positive outcomes within each patient’s limitations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, communicate with families and physicians, and document services accurately. Supervise clinical staff and contribute to professional development.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, deliver therapy, and document progress. Educate families and staff, participate in team meetings, and ensure safety practices. Manage documentation for billing and regulatory compliance, and support facility-wide positive culture.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, 2-3 years of relevant experience preferred, valid SLP license, CCC certification, and CPR certification if required. Strong communication, teamwork, and safety skills needed. Physical demands include working with patients and maintaining a safe environment.
