PT GI Nurse Practitioner

The Part-Time Nurse Practitioner in Gastroenterology provides patient-centered care under physician supervision at a clinic in Lubbock, Texas.

Evaluates, diagnoses, and manages GI and liver conditions such as GERD, IBS, IBD, and liver disease.

Performs assessments, orders and interprets diagnostics, develops treatment plans, and prescribes medications.

Educates patients on disease management, medication adherence, nutrition, and lifestyle changes.

Collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care and maintains accurate documentation.

Participates in meetings, training, and quality initiatives, adhering to legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Nursing, an active Texas NP license, national certification, and at least one year of experience, preferably in gastroenterology. The role requires on-site work two days per week, with potential for additional shifts, and involves physical activity and exposure to clinical environments. Candidates must be willing to relocate to Farwell, TX before starting.
