This part-time position requires a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with at least 2 years’ experience, preferably in pain management, to provide compassionate, comprehensive care for chronic pain patients.
Perform patient interviews, physical exams, review imaging, and develop individualized treatment plans.
Order, interpret diagnostic tests, and educate patients on results and therapies.
Prescribe medications and manage pain procedures like injections.
Document visits accurately, address patient questions, and ensure compliance with licensing and practice protocols.
Travel between Suffolk, VA, and Chesapeake, VA, with relocation to Suffolk required before starting.
