We are seeking a Behavioral Health Counselor/Therapist to provide psychosocial assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients of all ages.
- Conduct assessments to identify emotional, social, and environmental strengths and issues related to diagnosis and life circumstances.
- Implement clinical interventions, including crisis, individual, marital, and family therapies.
- Participate in staff meetings, collaborate with therapy teams, and develop tailored therapy programs.
- Maintain detailed case records and document assessments, interactions, and interventions.
- Educate patients and families about adaptation to health conditions and available resources.
- Liaise with community agencies and provide consultative support to healthcare team members.
- Ensure confidentiality and comply with documentation standards and legal requirements.
Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Behavioral Science or related field, along with licensure as LMHC, tLMHC, LMSW, or LISW in Iowa. Some travel may be required. This is an in-person role.
